Washed Gravel
Washed Gravel is great for landscaping projects and can be used in pathways, driveways, play areas, grilling areas, and anywhere else you want it in your outdoor areas. It looks similar to river rock, n and provides drainage and weed control. Gravel is washed gravel when it has been passed through water to loosen and remove dirt from the rock. It has also been screened to remove any debris that doesn’t belong. Washed gravel has truly been washed, so there is no dirt or dust on it. This gives it a shiny, gleaming look that makes landscaping areas look especially beautiful.
Please Note: We recommend acquiring all the Masonry Sand you need for a job at one time to ensure consistency throughout your project.
Besides bulk delivery in one of our dump trucks (max 9 tons), Sislers offers three other convenient ways to transport:
- 50 lb heat-sealed bags
- Super Sacks (hold up to 2,500 lbs)
- Bulk (load your vehicle or containers like our 5 gallon buckets)
Bags and buckets are ideal for small jobs, while the Super Sacks are good for larger jobs where you already need a spider (forklift delivery). Super Sacks can be placed in alleyways where a dump truck cannot go, and they make for a cleaner job site!
We have invested in a state-of-the-art bagging machine, capable of producing large quantities of bags in a relatively short period of time. Though most of our bags are sold on the premises, we are also bagging for other suppliers. For more details, call our office: 703.532.0169
